Graduation FAQs

Am I eligible to graduate as part of class of 2026?

If you your qualification has an expected end date between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2026 and have passed, you will qualify to graduate as class of 2026.

If you are currently awaiting your results, then you will receive an invitation to graduation with the caveat that this is dependent on passing your qualification or completing the standard and EPA for higher/degree apprenticeships.

How do get my graduation robes?

Graduation robes can be hired through Ede and Ravenscroft. A link to book robes and guest seating will be sent to those who have registered their interest in attending the ceremony to book robes and guest seating.

Robes can be collected on the day from a designated point and then must be returned after the ceremony.

Graduation robes are compulsory for graduating. If you do not have robes, you will not be permitted to graduate on the day.

How many guest can I have at the ceremony?

We allocate two tickets per graduate. Guest tickets are free but must be booked when you book your graduation gown. If you do not book tickets for guests then we cannot guarantee admission for guests on the day.

Please note that guests and graduands will be sat separately throughout the ceremony.

Can I bring children to the ceremony?

It is advised not to bring young children to the ceremony. Ceremonies usually runs between 60-90 minutes in length, which can make it difficult for children to sit through. If you do bring children, we ask that you please take them out of the ceremony if they become unsettled as not to disrupt the ceremony.

What if I or my guest have accessibility issues?

We ask graduands to inform us if they or guests have and accessibility issues ahead of the ceremony so we can make accommodations.
